How to go to Perhentian Island

Perhentian island is a beautiful island in Terengganu Malaysia. It is located in Besut district. There are two Perhentian island, first is Perhentian Island Besar and second is Perhentian Island Kecil.

How to get to Perhentian Island. If you are from oversea. You have to get visa from Malaysia Embassy in your country. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) you can take a flight to Kuala Terengganu. There are several flight company that are going to Kuala Terengganu such as Malaysia Airlines (MAS), Airasia, Malindo and Firefly. However Firefly is running at Subang Airport. From the Kuala Terengganu, you can take airport limo direct to Kuala Besut Jetty its almost two and a half hours. Then you can buy ticket ferry/boat to Perhentian Island. If you want to save budget you can take a bus from Kuala Terengganu Terminal to Kuala Besut Jetty. Its almost three hours to the jetty.
